Future & Hope Counseling Services is Announcing:

Cooperative Parenting Workgroup

This group will be for pre and post divorced parents and parents who have never been married, but share the responsibilities of raising a child together. While it is preferred that co-parents attend together, it is not mandated that both parents in conflict attend the same group sessions if there is a no contact or PPO order in place. This psychoeducational based program is designed to address the relationship between parents. It helps to teach parents how to cope effectively while focusing on what is in the best interest of the child. Parents will learn to shift their role from being a couple to being an equal but separate parent who shares in the parenting of the child. Parents will also learn how to improve communication, solve conflicts, and focus on the child’s issues on separation/divorce.

The workgroup will begin on Wednesday, September 21, 2026 and end Wednesday October 28, 2026.  Classes begin promptly at 5:30 and will end at 7:00 p.m. at Future & Hope Counseling Services LLC, 3550 Shattuck Rd. STE C, Saginaw, MI. 48603.The 6-session workgroup will meet every week.

The cost of the group will be $45.00 per person/per group session if private pay. If the courts are paying for group, Future & Hope Counseling Services needs documentation stating this information prior to first group. Attending this group with your co-parent is strongly encouraged but not required if there is an active PPO or no contact order.

If you are interested or know someone who is, you can enroll by calling 989-327-1210. If you have any questions regarding the group, you may email at futurehopecounselingservices@outlook.com. Your enrollment is expected before the start of the first session on a first come, first served basis.
